The enchanting Italy will now come visiting our Capital in its picturesque avatar. ENIT — Italian State Tourism Board will organise a five-day road show featuring exclusive artwork and photographs by Indian artists depicting the splendor of Italy, a fashion show by top Italian fashion brands of Italy, wine-tasting workshops, B2B seminars and many such interesting activities. The event was organised in Mumbai last week and will travel to Bangalore after its stint in Delhi.
Day 1 will showcase will present two seminars on the subjects Italy as a Fashion Destination and The Culture of Tourism in India, respectively. The seminar will be open to Italian companies and Italian Regions.
ENIT will give information about the Indian market, the current situation of the tourism industry and what Italians have to expect while doing business with Indians. There will be a presentation of courses of the Marangoni Institute in Italy by Giacomo Sanfelice di Monteforte, the Ambassador of Italy in India and Marco Bruschini, the Italian General Director of ENIT.
Day 2 has B2B and education opportunities on offer in the country where the Italian Embassy, the ENIT, TAAI or TAFI and a guest of honour will talk about Italy as a tourist destination. The short seminar will highlight the different products of Italy, but also the way ahead — what the Indian travel fraternity is expecting from Italy.
Similarly days 3, 4 and 5 will screen Italian classics of various genres. Films like Il Vento fa il suo giro (The wind blows round), Basta un niente (Before you know it) and A cavallo della tigre (Jail break) are the highlights.
