With registration ending today, DU announces further procedure through website

The Delhi University (DU) on Tuesday announced the complete schedule for admission to undergraduate courses. The registration process will end on June 22 which began on June 1 for the 2016-17 admission sessions.
“The University has announced complete admission schedule for the session of 2016-17, all the details have been published on the website,” Tarun Das, the Registrar of DU said.
The University has announced that the first admission list will released on June 30, after which the verification of documents will be started and the process will end on July 2. The second, third, fourth and fifith admission lists will be released on July 5, 11, 15 and 20 respectively. Unlike previous years, the DU is coming up with only five cut-off lists for the new session.
If seats remain vacant after the announcement of the fifth list a college shall notify the number of vacant seats. After this applicants need to register their name with the colleges where seats are vacant. The college will publish three admission lists for filling the seats.
The notification of vacant courses after the fifth list will be published by the colleges on July 23, 30 and August 3. The admission process under this scheme will be end on August 16.
The admission process for children, widows of officers of Armed Forces including paramilitary personnel, gallantry awardees have been kept separate. The admission process for these categories will start from July 5 and will conclude on July 23. The admission process for the above categories will be held at the Conference Centre in front of Botany Department of DU.
Between every cut off list, the applicants will be given two to three days to get their admission confirmed.
