Especially after the short trip to Chattishgarh. Sirpur to be precise - to cover the Sirpur National Dance and Music Festival. Going strong in their second year, the festival hopes to change how the rest of India views Chattishgarh. We shall be writing about it in details next week - keep an eye out.
Anywho! The main reason I talked about Sirpur was because of the glorious sun that gave us the chance to run about in t-shirts. But that happiness was short lived. The only respite in these foggy days is telling ourselves that we aren’t in the Polar Vortex.
But cold or no cold - Delhi has been keeping super busy. Recently Foodhall hosted a splendid evening of flavors and tastes to celebrate its new store at Gurgaon. The launch at Central Mall had food connoisseurs, socialites, chefs under one roof exploring a whole new food shopping extravaganza.
Spread over 15000 square feet area, the store has been exclusively designed to offer novel concepts from around the globe. We also checked out Chitra Agarwal’s new collection of flowing empire cocktail gowns which featured classy, elegant embellishments with crystallized jackets. ‘A cocktail dress is important for a variety of social events, and most simple to carry. There are so many evening parties and occasions being held as festive season is on its way,’ Agarwal said.
The best part about January is NSD’s Bharat Rang Mahotsav - 2014 that is going to be on till the 15th of Jan. This festival gave us the chance to witness some brilliant plays. If you have missed it thus far - pick up the schedule and go watch these thespians in action. You won’t regret it!
The Delhi Natya Utsav and the Swami Haridas Tansen Sangeet Nritya Mahotsav are all set to begin with the latter taking over the Capital over 16, 17 and 18 January. Don’t miss it for the world!
