Wife, paramour held for killing Delhi constable

Delhi police constable Ajit Baliyan, who had died of bullet wounds on 10 April, was murdered by his wife's paramour and had not committed suicide, the police on Wednesday said. Constable's wife Raj and her lover Mukesh have been arrested and the two have confessed to their involvement in the crime, SSP Nitin Tiwari said.

In another incident, a woman and her two accomplices were sentenced to life imprisonment on Wednesday by a district court for killing her husband and cutting off his genitals.

District and sessions judge B.B. Prasun convicted Nagina(36), her associates Satender(35) alias Sonu and Arvind(23) for murder.
