Why is Pakistani diplomat on an FIR lodging spree?

Difficult as it might be to believe, but  senior Pakistani diplomat, Syed Zargham Raza, seemed to be on a mission to register as many FIRs as he possibly could in a single day against Delhi’s drivers. Raza, first secretary Pakistan’s High Commission, has alleged that he was assaulted, in two separate incidents, by a man and a woman, as well as a truck driver and the Capital’s public at large, while driving through the roads of Delhi on Monday. However, in one incident, a cross FIR was also filed against the belligerent consul.

According to sources in Delhi police, Raza, incidentally, met with two accidents within six hours at two different places in south Delhi. The first of the two incidents took place on Monday, at around 6.30 pm, near Ber Sarai in Vasant Vihar area, in which he allegedly received severe injuries after being beaten up on the road. However, according to the complaint filed by Raza, the second incident took place on the intervening night (early Tuesday morning at 1 am) at RK Puram area of south Delhi.

One of the FIRs in possession with Millennium Post alleged that at 1 am on Tuesday, when Raza was on his way back to the High Commission, a truck hit his car from the right side and fled the scene following the event. The incident took place at Sector-12, RK Puram. The police officials have registered a complaint against the errant truck driver.
In the separate incident, that preceded the RK Puram accident, Raza had already earned a dose of publicity after crying foul over being assaulted on Delhi roads. Two persons, including a man and a woman, identified as Rohit and Roshni, were arrested on late Monday night under six sections of IPC.

‘On the basis of the FIR made by Raza in this incident, around 10 persons were found guilty, including the public who were the eyewitness. The public have been charged with Section-149 (unlawful assembly) of IPC,’ an investigating official said.
However, a cross FIR was also made at Vasant Vihar police station against the indignant Pakistani diplomat.
