Wazirabad fire causes severe congestion

A fire incident was reported at Wazirabad area on Thursday night, leading to severe traffic congestion in the area.
‘We received a call at 8:50 pm that some vehicles have caught fire in the area and we immediately sent two fire trucks,’ said a fire official. The fire trucks were not back from the spot when the report was filed.
According to sources, the pilgrims of the Kaawariyan season, passing through that area, had a violent confrontation with the police.
This led to a sudden commotion and they set two PCR vans afire. ‘This incident led to a severe traffic congestion in the area,’ said the source.
