Several areas in south Delhi, including Jawaharlal Nehru University and Indian Institute of Technology, faced short supply of water on Saturday evening due to ongoing repair work of the main water supply line near Meera Bagh.
‘The water supply would not be available or will run at very low pressure on Saturday evening and Sunday morning,’ said spokesperson of Delhi Jal Board (DJB).
The affected areas include RK Puram, Vasant Vihar, Katwaria Sarai, Ber Sarai, Kishan Garh and Safdarjung Development Area.
DJB has advised the residents to contact regional offices for water tankers.
