Waste water recycle project in vasant vihar

Taking an innovative step for water conservation, leader of house in South MCD, Radhey Shyam Sharma dedicated a Waste Water Recycle Project to the people of his ward in Vasant Vihar on Tuesday. The plant costing Rs 10 lakh would recycle drain water to be used for irrigation purposes in the parks. “SDMC has started this project for the first time which would be replicated in other wards also,” said Sharma. He said parks in the area are facing shortage of water due to its demography and this project would enable the authorities to fulfill promises towards ecological balancing, water harvesting and green Delhi.
