Wanted criminal of UP held by Special Cell

Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested a 23-year-old man who was wanted in a double murder case in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh and the double murder of a mother and daughter in Nizzamuddin area in Delhi.

According to police, a tip-off was received that the accused — Salman — would come to Shahdara. As per the information, a trap was laid and he was apprehended with a country-made pistol alongwith 2 live cartridges. Earlier, he was lodged in Dasna Jail UP, in murder cases of UP. On July 4, while being taken to Ghaziabad court for production he escaped from police custody. Since then he was absconding.

During investigation it was also learnt that in 2012, Salman alongwith his associate Javed had killed a daughter and mother when they objected the accused persons for urinating infront of them.

He was arrested by Delhi police in this murder case and was also arrested by UP police in an attempt to murder case of UP. After coming out on bail he continued his criminal activities and in 2015 he along with his associates attacked member of his rival party in village. After which he was arrested and lodged in Dasna jail.
