Wanted criminal held

A 50-year-old man, who was declared proclaimed offender by a Delhi court, has been arrested, police said on Tuesday.
Mizaz Khan, a resident of Shadipur, was arrested from Satya Park at Naraina road yesterday on a specific input, Addl CP (Central district) Devesh Chandra Srivastava said. Khan was wanted in a murder case of 2007.
The accused, along with five others, had attacked Jahur Khan, a resident of Kathputli Colony in Pandav Nagar, during a fight in which Jahur was injured and rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia hospital where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment, police said.
Four accused Aziz Khan, Sameen, Azad alias Lalu and Haseen - all residents of Kathputli Colony in Pandav Nagar, were arrested but two others Bande Hussain and Mizaz Khan were absconding since 2007. Both of them were later declared as proclaimed offenders by a Tis Hazari court. Hussain was arrested in May last year and only Khan was left.
