Walia lauds Awaz Uthao groups

In a review meeting of Awaz Uthao groups, minister of health and family welfare department, women and child development and languages,  Kiran Walia on Wednesday said the Awaz Uthao Campaign has  enthused  the women activists to come forward for the cause of the safety and security of women.  

‘Having seen the government support for the cause of the safety and security of the women, the Awaz Uthao groups are raising  their voice against exploitation  and sexual harassment,’ she said.
