Vote without fear: Sushma Swaraj tells electors

Union minister Sushma Swaraj on Sunday asked the people of Haryana to vote ‘without fear’ and bring BJP to power to shut the door on those who had let loose a reign of terror in the state earlier.

The External Affairs minister, who has been actively campaigning in the state in the run up to the 15 October assembly polls, asked the voters not to be afraid of anyone and vote without fear.

Seeking votes for Prof Chattarpal from here, who recently joined BJP from Congress, Swaraj in a veiled attack at INLD, reminded the people of reign of terror during their regime.

She also hit out at Congress over alleged land scams and lopsided development and said if BJP, which is contesting the polls independently for the first time in the state, is voted to power, it will undertake all-round progress.

Notably, besides BJP, main opposition INLD, which has been out of power in the state for a decade now, is seeking to wrest the power from ruling Congress.
