Vote for governance, not for demonstration: Rajnath

While addressing public at Tughlakabad, Singh asked them to cast their vote in favor of their candidate Vikram Bidhuri and promised them he will ensure all developmental works in the area once given a clear mandate by the people.

Criticising AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal for running away midway in 2013 from the post of Chief Minister, he said, “In the previous assembly election we failed to achieve a clear mandate and as a responsible party we all decided to sit in the opposition. Unfortunately, AAP leaders who used to condemn Congress for their misconduct, later joined hands with them to form the government.”

“Despite forming an alliance with the Congress, we preferred to stay as opposition. But suddenly, they left the government within 49 days leaving the faith and development of Delhi in a dark. Several crores of our taxpayers’ money was spent on election but they are not bothered about the sentiments of poor and forced Delhi to witness another election within a span a little more than a year,” he said.

Slamming AAP, he claimed that they are fooling people in the name of politics and they want power and nothing else. “They are least bothered about the poor and it is only BJP who can return Delhi, its lost glory,” he said.
