VK Malhotra for speedy justice for rape victims

The leader of the opposition in Delhi Assembly, Vijay Kumar Malhotra, in a statement, said that though Fast Track Courts have been constituted to deal with rape cases, hundreds of cases are still pending.

Malhotra said that by amending the Act, provision should be made for capital punishment for rape and justice should be meted out by the Fast Track Courts within two to three months.
