Violence, accident take 3 lives on Holi

Two people were dead in two separate cases of minor altercation-turned-violent fights during Holi celebrations on Friday.
In the first incident at West Delhi’s Ranhola, a 21-year-old BA student was allegedly stabbed to death by a group of local youths when the victim, identified as Mohit Kumar, reportedly denied them money for buying liquor, said a senior police official. In the second incident a 30-year-old rickshaw puller was beaten to death after a drunken brawl in Delhi’s Darya Ganj area.
In another incident, a 25-year-old man Furkan Anjum, died when he fell off a five-storied building while celebrating Holi with his friends near his rented accommodation at North-east Delhi’s New Usmanpur area, a police official informed.
