Vijay Jolly asks how CAG report could be leaked

BJP leader Vijay Jolly has raised question on how the CAG report on the Delhi government was leaked before it was tabled in the House. 'The CAG report on the functioning of Delhi government was leaked before it was presented in the assembly. But the Speaker escaped his responsibility by merely stating that this was not a lapse at his end. The Speaker further added that the report might have been leaked from the centre or elsewhere,' alleged Jolly, adding, 'Is the Delhi Assembly Speaker, Yoganand Shastri, accusing the Congress government at the Centre for this leak or is he just misleading the people of Delhi with a fabricated reply?'

He further went on to say that the just concluded Delhi Assembly budget session was a grand failure. 'Mere formalities were observed while conducting the budget session, the citizen were not benefited as the government refused to own responsibilities of their problems,' he added. There were 240 starred and 540 un-starred questions but the answers received were far from the truth and 206 supplementary questions received twisted replies. The government has failed to satisfy the concerns of the House on the issue of law & order in Delhi, increasing crime against women, high-handedness of bureaucrats and failure to contain the rising tariff of power & water bills, he said.
