VHP urges Centre to launch proper probe into Kairana ‘exodus’

“We have asked the Centre for a proper investigation. The migration of Hindus is a matter of concern. Hindus have been victimised from Kashmir to Kerala,” said VHP joint general secretary Surendra Jain.
The right-wing outfit held “jihadi” elements responsible for the alleged exodus.

The VHP leader added, “The Muslim population is increasing gradually and Hindus living in the state are scared of them. This is main reason behind the deteriorating law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh.”

Jain said the VHP would launch a nationwide awareness campaign over the alleged exodus of Hindus from Muslim-dominated areas. He added that the party workers had also conducted surveys to list out sensitive places across the country.

The VHP had launched an awareness campaign for Hindus in J&K too. “We have carried out campaigns in Rajouri and a few other villages in J&K to increase awareness among Hindus,” Jain added.

He said, “We have also asked Muslims to co-operate with Hindus.”
