Uttarakhand Lokayukta Act: It’s BJP versus Cong again!

BJP state chief Tirath Singh Rawat attack ruling Congress party on several grounds. He said that the corruption is rampant in the state, and BJP leaders are falsely implicated in criminal offences by the jealous ruling party members.

Their own party members like union minister Harish Rawat and assembly speaker Govind Singh Kunjwal are in the favour of implementing this Uttarakhand Lokayukta Act, but CM Vijay Bahuguna is talking of making amendments in this act.  There is no sense of waiting for the state cabinet meeting on November 7, when ruling party will have final say on this issue. The assembly session should be called at this movement, and opposition should also be invited to share their views for the smooth flow of perfect democratic governance.

This bill was passed during Maj. Gen. Khanduri tenure as CM in the legislative assembly and was sent to President for his approval with the consents of ruling and oppositions MLAs, then why Congress ministers are going to back-foot now.
