Uttarakhand govt is dedicated to development work: Bahuguna

Recruitment would soon be done to the police and 37,000 youngsters would get an employment opportunity.’

CM Vijay Bahuguna said while inaugurating the foundation stones for works worth Rs 23.7 crore lakh in Gaulapar, Haldwani in the Kumaon Mandal on Wednesday.

These programs include inauguration of the repair and reinforcement work worth Rs 19.7844 crore of Gaula Bridge; improvement work on 2 Km motor road of Lalkuan Vidhan Sabha area’s Vijaypur Pahadpani; construction of causeway on Sukhi Nadi worth Rs 19.46 lakhs; joining of village Lacchapur to motor route by metalled road; construction of a 60 metre span bridge worth Rs 29.55 lakh on the Sukhi Nadi.

It also included construction of classes in government Higher Secondary School, Navad Kheda worth Rs 41.44 lakhs thousand ad Inter College, Daulatpur, worth Rs 35.23 lakhs; construction of  of a Helidrome in Gaulapur, Haldwa,i worth Rs 2.68 crores. Along with this, the State ITI, Bindukhata, was also inaugurated.

The state government sanctioned the construction of ring road in Haldwani, construction of a new bridge between the two older bridges on Gola River, multi level car parking facility in Haldwani, construction of an elevated road from Teenpani to Kathgodam on the basis of feasibility report, reconstruction of Bheemtaal bypass, setting up multi-purpose building at the Bheemtal Vikas Bhavan.
