In a bizarre case, a Times Square fortune teller has been accused of fleecing out more than $7 lakh from a lovelorn man who had sought spiritual advice in a bid to be united with the woman he loved.
A 32-year-old man from Brooklyn, who has not been named in court documents, said he had an ally in his quest -- a <g data-gr-id="12">fortuneteller</g> -- who fought the evil spirits day and night from her storefront in Times Square, according to accusations that led the police to arrest her last month. The police and the man said the fortuneteller, Priscilla Kelly <g data-gr-id="13">Delmaro</g>, 26, had bled him dry over 20 months.
<g data-gr-id="9">Delmaro</g> and another man, Bobby Evans, 27, have been arrested on grand larceny charges, the New York Times reported.
