UP: Two forest officials suspended

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday ordered the suspension of the Chief Forest Conservator and the Forest Conservator for their alleged “laxity” in plantation drive in the eco-sensitive Taj Trapezium Zone.
Chief Forest Conservator PK Sharma and Forest Conservator Vibhash Ranjan, both posted in Agra, have been suspended.
The Principal Chief Forest Conservator has been asked to prepare a plan for plantation in the bzone as per the Supreme Court’s order, it added.
