UP shivers under grip of cold wave

Uttar Pradesh continues to reel under cold wave conditions as Lucknow experienced 2 degree Celsius on Monday morning forcing the people to stay indoors.
According to weather office, maximum temperature in parts of state was recorded 9-10 Degree Celsius below normal. The met officials said that cold wave conditions prevailed in parts of state.
If night temperature rose in Moradabad the temperature remained below normal in Gorakhpur, Allahabad, Kanpur, Varanasi, Faizabad, Lucknow Bareilly, Moradabad, and Agra. Lowest minimum temperature in the state was 2.0 degree Celsius.
