UP govt fails to use funds: Cong

Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) on Thursday alleged that development projects in the state has come to a standstill because the Akhilesh Yadav government has failed to utilise the budgetary grants. ‘Even as just two months is left for the end of the financial year, the Samajwadi Party government has spent just around 40 per cent of the budgetary grants proving its laxity in spending on the developmental and welfare schemes,’ said UP Congress spokesperson Amarnath Agarwal on Thursday.
