Unguarded atm machine with Rs 7 lakh cash stolen in G noida

Few unidentified assailants uprooted an unguarded ATM kiosk and took it with them in Greater Noida on Wednesday night. Police said the incident took place late night when the robbers attacked the ATM of a private bank at Shakipur Road near Tilpata village and took away the kiosk with Rs 7 lakh in it. Police also said no security guard was present at the kiosk. A case has been registered at Surajpur police station. D Harendra Singh, Superintendent of Police, Greater Noida said the robbers used a sharp weapon to uproot the machine. Further investigation are underway to identify the accused.
It is important to mention that on November 25, similar incident of uprooting of an ATM kiosk was reported from Narela in Delhi. The robbers ran away with the ATM and are yet to be arrested.
