U’khand panel to probe Ramdev’s drug

The Uttarakhand government has set up a committee to examine the controversial ‘Putrajeevak Beej’, an <g data-gr-id="11">ayuvedic</g> product which promises a male child, produced by yoga guru Ramdev’s pharmacy.
The three-member committee will submit its report within a week and it would be sent to the Union government, said Surendra Kumar, media adviser of Chief Minister Harish Rawat.
The committee headed by Drug Controller, Ayush, PD Chamoli, has been formed according to the directives of the Centre to the state government, he said.
