He added that the state government would soon open eight nursing colleges in Uttarakhand.

“In this era of cut-throat competition, we have to learn how to grasp opportunities, besides honing our subject skill. In this age of perfection, only bright students can shine. There will be a demand of 22 crore skill manpower by 2025 worldwide. And, I am sure, we will meet this demand as there is no shortage of young talented brain in our country,”  he said.

Elaborating on state’s distinction as an educational hub, he said: “It is our pride that Dehradun is home to nationally reputed schools and educational institutions. The salubrious and peaceful climate suits students and research scholars alike.  We are moving towards making Uttarakhand an ideal state for skilled manpower. We are inviting investors by explaining advantages of the hill state and their ventures can enrich educational climates too. We are going to start eight new nursing colleges.”
