Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray will not be attending Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s functions in the city on Sunday as he will be in Marathwada to review the drought situation in the area.
Modi will be in the city to lay the foundation stone for Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s memorial at Indu Mills in Dadar and to conduct ‘bhoomi <g data-gr-id="11">pujan</g>’ for two new Metro lines at Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), where he will also address a rally.
“Uddhavji will be in Beed district tomorrow as per a '<g data-gr-id="9">pre decided</g>' programme, to review drought situation there,” his media adviser Harshal Pradhan said.
