According to officials in fire department, they received a call at 2.30 pm and immediately nine fire tenders were rushed to spot. It took firefighters around three hours to control the fire. While controlling the fire, other policemen were rescuing old age persons trapped inside.

However, the officials failed to rescue two persons, who died due to severe burn injuries. The deceased have been identified as Ramesh and Poonam and the duo were mentally challenged. They were rushed to the nearby hospitals where they were declared dead on arrival due to 100% burn injuries.
