Two militants killed, 2 jawans injured in gunfight near LoC

Two militants were killed and two soldiers injured in a gunfight near the Line of Control in  Karnah area of Tangdhar sector in Kashmir, army officials said.

"We have recovered two bodies of the militants killed  during the operation launched on Wednesday in Karnah area of  Kupwara district," an army official said.

He said two jawans were also injured in the operation,? which was going on till the last reports came in.

"Two jawans have sustained minor injuries in the ongoing operation in Karnah," the official said.
