Two hurt in road mishap

Two army men were critically injured on Sunday morning after the bike they were travelling on was hit by a car at a crossing near India Gate in Central Delhi . ‘The car driver has been arrested for  reckless driving,’ said a police official. The incident was reported around 9 am from India Gate.  Arun Kumar, 35, and Lathish, 33, were injured. They were rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia hospital, where their condition is said to be critical, said a police official. ‘The car driver, Vipin, 35, was with his family. A case regarding the incident has been registered and the accused was arrested from the spot,’ he added.
