Two die in separate mishaps

The 12-year-old son of a Commanding Officer in Air Force was crushed to death by a school bus in Ghaziabad on Thursday afternoon. The officer is presently posted in J&K and the victim was a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Hindon Airport. In another such accident in Greater Noida, a 4-year-old girl student was crushed to death on Thursday morning by a tractor while on her way to school. According to the police, the accident took place around 2.50 pm, when Vinay, 12, a student of VII standard in Kendriya Vidyalaya-II at Hindon Air Force station in Ghaziabad was going home. A speeding school bus of Kendriya Vidyalaya-I in the area crushed him to death on G T road near Hindon bridge. Vinay’s father Kailash Chand is posted in Jammu and Kashmir. ‘The boy died on the spot,’ said Shiv Shankar Yadav, S P City of Ghaziabad. In another accident in Greater Noida, a girl was crushed to death by a tractor on Thursday morning. According to police, Kumkum was a KG student in a nearby school and came under the wheels of the tractor while crossing the road. She died immediately. The case has been been registered in Jarcha police station and manhunt is on to nab the driver.
