Immediately, police was informed and all victims were immediately rushed to the nearby Ambedkar Hospital situated in Rohini Sector 3, where Surender and Satish were declared dead, while the severely injured, Ravi and Mahesh were referred to AIIMS. Their condition is set to be critical.
Yashpal was discharged from the hospital following treatment. Meanwhile, the 26-year-old errant driver, Ankit, who is said to be the son of a businessman and lives in Dwarka area of south-west Delhi, also sustained minor injuries. He was given medical assistance.
Police said that they have registered a case under relevant provisions of the IPC and MV Act with the Shalimar Bagh police station. Both the car occupants, Ankit and the woman, Shefali, who used to be a radio jockey, have been arrested.
