Two-day state mourning in Delhi on Sahni’s death

Delhi Government on Wednesday declared state mourning for two days following the death of veteran BJP leader and former Governor Kedarnath Sahni. The government declared state mourning today and tomorrow, while its offices will remain closed on Wednesday afternoon as mark of respect to the departed soul. Sahni died following illness. He was 85.

He was not keeping good health for the past few days and breathed his last this morning. The cremation will be held at Lodhi crematorium. The veteran leader was Governor of Goa and Sikkim and Mayor of Delhi.
