Two Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) students died after the car they were travelling in collided with an electric pole in the capital on Thursday.
The incident was reported from south-east Delhi’s Sunlight colony area around 4:30 pm on Thursday.
The victims, Anup(24) and Abhhimanyu(24), who were travelling in a Swift Desire car, were rushed to Rao Tula Ram Memorial hospital where they were declared dead on arrival.
According to the police officials, initial investigation revealed that they were rashly driving in and hence collided with the electric pole near the red light.
‘Both the victim’s were friends and studied in a Delhi based private institute,’ said a police official.
Anup, the owner of the car, left his Nazafgarh house Thursday evening and he picked Abhimanyu from his Rewla Khanpur house.
