Two assembly segments of NE Delhi Lok Sabha seat register maximum turnout

Two assembly segments of North-East Delhi parliamentary constituency received a maximum turnout followed by East Delhi’s Trilokpuri and West Delhi’s Janakpuri assembly segments.

Delhi Cantonment assembly segment of New Delhi parliamentary constituency was the only area where female voters  turned up more than the males. Out of total 58.18 percent, the total female voter’s turnout was recorded 59.78 percent against 57.08 percent of male turnout.

North-East Delhi parliamentary constituency’s Seemapuri assembly segment, which is reserved for Scheduled Caste, received a maximum 71.83 percent of turnout with 73.04 percent of male and 70.45 percent of female voters. The Gokalpur assembly segment of the same constituency received 70.26 percent turnout with 71.34 percent male and 68.94 percent female voters.

In the East Delhi parliamentary constituency, the Trilokpuri assembly segment, which is reserved for SC, received 71.50 percent turnout with 71.34 percent male and 70.35 percent female voters.
West Delhi parliamentary constituency’s Janakpuri assembly segment received 71.50 percent turnout with 71.75 percent male and 69.00 female voters.

The lowest scorer was  Oklha assembly segment of South Delhi constituency where the turnout was recorded 56.83 percent with 57.15 percent male and 56.36 percent female voters, followed by North-West Delhi’s Badli  with 57.93 percent and New Delhi’s Delhi Cantt area with 58.18 percent of votes.
