Two arrested for carrying out betting on IPL matches

Two men, involved in betting racket involving cricket matches, were arrested in West Delhi, police said today.
Sunil Bansal and Aman Preet Singh were arrested yesterday after police received a tip-off that a 'satta' on Indian Premier League (IPL) matches is being organised regularly at a house in Punjabi Bagh.
To nab the accused, police sent one decoy customer who deposited Rs 500 to the racketeers after which police conducted a raid and recovered Rs 2,500.
The gang members had booked bets worth Rs 5 lakh at the time of their arrest.
