Tripura Youth Trinamool Congress to observe ‘Day of Integrity’ on Sept 23

The Tripura Pradesh Youth Trinamool Congress (TPYTMC) will be observing September 23, as ‘Day of Integrity’ between the tribal and non-tribal section of people of north-east state. The decision was taken by the president of TPYTMC Sushanta Chowdhury on Tuesday.

This is a protest against month back incumbent CPI (M) conspired clash between the two sections of people in the capital Agartala.

The national president of TPYTMC, MP Abhishek Banerjee and another senior party leader Mukul Roy also will take part in the protest, the party official said while addressing media persons.

The party also alleged that the ruling Left party has not fulfilled what it has promised for last 23 years. Chief Minister Manik Sarkar’s government has failed in providing employment and quality education in the state and due to which the youths are frustrated.

Young Trinamool Congress leaders, who recently left Congress in protest against the CPI (M) and Congress alliance in last West Bengal Assembly election, will also take part in the protest. The party is also going to raise the issue of termination of 10,323 government teachers, which is at present is in the Supreme Court after Tripura High Court had ordered to terminate them for violating the union government guideline of appointing teachers through TET.

Last month the TMC supremo and Chief Minister of West Bengal had held a massive rally where she ushered the “Poriborton”.  While underlining the 34 years misrule by Left in West Bengal, she claimed that there was no sign of development.
