Tricolour starts selling at Khadi Gramodyog Bhawan

Ahead of the 69th Independence Day, Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Ministry of MSME, Government of India is ensuring the production of national flags of all sizes as per the IS 1 standard recommended by the first President of India, Dr Rajendra Prasad. It was also informed that the sale of national flags, made according to the prescribed norms, was started at Khadi Gramodyog Bhavan, Connaught Place, from August 11 (Tuesday). The commission requested the citizens of Delhi and NCR to purchase Khadi BIS approved national flags and all government departments, armed forces, paramilitary forces, education institutions, corporate houses etc were asked to contact the Khadi Gramodyog Bhavan for bulk purchase.
