Delhi transport minister Ramakant Goswami on Wednesday, along with a delegation from his constituency, met Lieutenant-Governer Tejendra Khana and exhorted him to intervene in addressing problems being faced by the residents. Khanna has given assurance that the possible measures would be taken to address the issues. He asked the officers concerned to look into the matter.

Goswami is interested in developing a modern hospital in Naraina Vihar. The hospital is expected to offer healthcare facilities to the residents of economically weaker sections in the area.

Goswami also demanded ownership rights for the residents of Todapur and Dusghara villages who are facing difficulties for sometime now.  Goswami also raised a demand of allowing construction of an additional floor in double-storey flats in Rajendra Nagar. He requested Khanna to intervene in this matter and impress upon LNDO to issue directions. Goswami stated that the cases of irregularities are being reported in allotment of transit camp of Kathputli colony.

Khanna instructed the officers to ensure that no eligible family should be deprived of the allotment.
