The bandh called by the Left and the BJP disrupted train movement at some stations in the state. Obstructions were reported from Diamond Harbour, Hotar. Obstructions were also reported from Lakshmikantapur, between Kakdwip and Namkhana, Ballygunge, Sealdah-Bangaon section, Thakurnagar and Chandpara station. The services were also disrupted at Asansol and Malda divisions.
