TRAI suggestions on spectrum trading expected by 27 January

Telecom regulator TRAI is likely to come out with its detailed recommendations on spectrum trading by 27 January after final discussions with industry players on 21 January.
‘TRAI is working on release (spectrum trading) recommendations by 27 January,’ an official source said while confirming that the regulator will hold meeting with telecom operators on 21 January to discuss some points pertaining to recommendations.
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) in September had recommended that private entities be allowed to sell spectrum which as of now is done by the government only.
