Traders meet VAT commissioner

Unhappy over declaring details of buyers to the VAT department, traders from over 50 associations in Delhi on Tuesday met the VAT commissioner to seek redressal. The traders will also raise the issue with Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday. “The VAT department has made it mandatory to fill the DS-1 form from June 1. “Under this form, the traders have to share details like the name of the buyer, his TIN no, details of the vehicle in which the good are to be sent.
