With an objective to provide better services to travellers, the Ministry of Tourism is all set to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Google to provide user- friendly electronic delivery of services.
A source in the ministry confirmed this saying two of the major services used by a tourist are mapping services and video sharing services. ‘The ministry has been endeavouring to collaborate with major service providers for a long term collaboration on such projects in order to promote tourism to India and to showcase India’s technological advantage.
