Top IB officer’s Delhi house burgled

The house of a deputy director of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) was burgled and cash and jewellery worth Rs. 35 lakh was stolen in Tughlak Road area. The incident occurred on Wednesday but was reported to the Tughlak Road police station on Saturday, after one of the neighbours found the lock at the main door broken and informed the local police about the matter.
The police said the family members of Rajesh Subarno, an IPS officer of West Bengal cadre who is currently posted in Manipur, had gone to Imphal to meet him last week when some unidentified people entered his s residence in Rabindra Nagar and burgled jewellery and cash worth Rs 35 lakhs.
