Top Chinese military official on Nepal visit

A top Chinese military official on Monday arrived here on a four-day visit during which he will hold talks with Deputy Prime Minister Bhim Bahadur Rawal and Nepal Army chief Rajendra Kshetri.
AdmAiral Sun Jianguo, of Joint Staff Department, Central Military Commission of China, was accorded a warm welcome at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
Sun will call on Rawal and meet Nepal Army chief Kshetri, said a statement issued by the army. It said such high-level exchanges between the Nepal Army and the People’s Liberation Army will help in strengthening existing friendly relations between the two armies.
