Toast to NaMo: Workers to host city’s biggest tea party

‘This “NaMo Chai Charcha” will focus on some key issues of governance and corruption. We will take this opportunity to highlight the fact that both the Congress-led UPA at the Centre and the AAP-Congress alliance government in Delhi are corrupt, inefficient non-performers and anti-people’, said Vijay Goel, Delhi’s BJP chief at a press conference.

Goel also said that this election campaign is going to be very different from previous elections, as social media will play a major role in spreading awareness.

‘Our campaign in Delhi has become very interactive. We are inviting people to contribute with slogans. Their suggestions are being asked for party’s national manifesto also’, said Goel.

Not shying away from taking credit for opening up of corruption cases against Congress leaders in connection with the Commonwealth Games Scam, Goel said that due to this mounting pressure by the BJP, AAP has been forced to send some CWG cases to the anti-corruption bureau.

He also blamed AAP for further worsening the power crisis in Delhi. ‘Kejriwal is not serious about solving the power crisis. He is too busy hogging all the limelight by criticising everyone and diverting people’s attention’, he retorted.

Meanwhile, Rashtrawadi Shiv Sena chief Jai Bhagwan Goel on Thursday merged his party with the BJP. Hundreds of his supporters were present on this occasion.
