Tis Hazari judges, staff told not to misuse electricity

In a renewed bid to save power, judges and staff of Tis Hazari, one of the biggest court complexes in the country, have again been asked to switch off air conditioners, fans and computers, when not required.

A circular issued by the chairman of Building Maintenance Committee of Tis Hazari court has also directed the readers and branch in-charges to take necessary steps to ensure and prevent the misuse of electricity in their respective <g data-gr-id="14">court rooms</g> and branches and switch off electrical devices, when not required.

“In continuation of earlier circulars, it is once again requested to all the judicial officers posted in Tis Hazari court complex, Delhi, to ensure to switch off all electrical devices including air conditioners installed in their chamber, when they are not in the chamber or are sitting in the <g data-gr-id="16">court room</g>.

“Similarly, ...devices including air conditioners installed in the <g data-gr-id="12">court room</g> be also switched off, if not required,” VK Bansal, Chairman of Building Maintenance Committee, Tis Hazari Court, said in the circular.
