Three-year-old falls in boiling water, dies

A three-year-old child lost his life when he fell in to container filled with boiling water on Friday. The incident took place in Jhilmil Colony of east Delhi, around 9 am.
The deceased has been identified as Saurav Sharma. He fell in the container while playing with his brother Pankaj, 6, inside his residence. Pankaj informed his mother but by the time she took him out, he had received 90 per cent burn injuries. She immediately took him to GTB hospital but died during treatment. Saurav’s father, Ajay Sharma, works in a factory. A police official said post-mortem has been carried out.
