Three killed in Bangalore building collapse

Three labourers were on Monday killed and ten others injured when a three-storey uanauthorised under-construction building collapsed at Kengeri on the city outskirts.
The deceased have been identified as Venkatesh and Shivakumar from North Karnataka and Mondal from Bihar, city police commissioner, who visited the mishap site, told reporters today.
The injured have been admitted to hospitals in the vicinity and all of them are out of danger, he said.
A case has been registered against persons responsible for the collapse and police are making efforts to trace them, Auradkar said.
The building was unauthorised, he added.
Karnataka Home Minister K J George and Bangalore Incharge Minister Ramalinga Reddy visited the spot and took stock of the situation. The building caved in when the labourers were at work, sources said.
