Three injured in road rage incidents

Two road rage incidents were reported in the capital on Thursday. In the first incident, three persons attacked a Delhi police constable with bricks when he asked for a pass. In the first incident, Delhi police constable Pradeep, posted in third battalion was returning home late on Wednesday night on his motorcycle.

When he reached near a petrol pump at Loni Road border, three persons were pushing a delivery van that was apparently not working. When Pradeep honked and asked for a pass, one of them allegedly kicked Pradeep's motorcycle.

Following that a scuffle broke out between Pradeep and the three persons. Pradeep managed to catch one of them and then called the local police.

A case has been registered at Jyoti Nagar police station and police has arrested one of the accused, identified as Jagdish, a resident of Karawal Nagar. The other two accused, Pawan and Manoj, are absconding.

In another incident, reported on Tuesday, Mukesh, a resident of Nabi Karim, was going to Kali Mandir in Sadar Bazar, along with his wife and 17-year-old son Vishal on a motorcycle.

The motorcycle hit a person walking on the street. The pedestrian turned furious and started fighting with them. One of his friends also joined him and the duo thrashed father and son. Then they fled from the scene.
